Vintage Conditions
A mild winter led to an early budburst and a very early harvest – 2 weeks earlier than recent years and almost a month earlier than historically. Dry winter and spring conditions gave a moderate quantity of fruit. Mostly good weather at harvest resulted in wines with good balance and flavour.
